幼少期から車が大好きで、東京オートサロンでのドリフトドライバーによるデモランやアニメのイニシャルDに魅了されて以来、私はずっとD1ドライバーになりたいという憧れを胸に抱いてきました。中学時代の3年間を海外留学し、日本以外の国際大会でのドリフト競技を知り海外で活躍できるドリフトドライバーになるという夢を抱くきっかけとなりました。
幼い頃、私に感動と喜びを与えてくれたドリフトドライバーの諸先輩方のように、私自身もも若い世代にドリフト魅力を 繋いでいけるドライバーになる事が夢です。ドリフト業界を盛上げ、多くの人々にドリフトの魅力を伝えていきたいます。
現在に至るまで遠回りではありましたが、支えてくださる皆様のおかげで、2022年からは夢だったD1GPへのシリーズ参戦を果たし、2年目のシーズンを終えることができました。
チームの皆様、スポンサー様、ファンの皆様と共にシリーズを走り切れたこと、この大舞台に立たせてもらえた事に心から感謝申し上げます。
毎戦で学んだことや感じたことを活かし、現在僕を支えてくださっている方々のためにも、ドリフト業界のマーケティングに貢献できるドライバーを目指して努力していきます。応援の程宜しくお願い申し上げます。
I have loved cars since childhood, and ever since I was fascinated by the drift demonstrations by drivers at the Tokyo Auto Salon and the anime Initial D, I have always held the aspiration of becoming a D1 driver close to my heart.
I had the opportunity to learn about drift competitions in international events outside of Japan during my three years of studying abroad in junior high school. This became the trigger for my dream of becoming a drift driver who can shine overseas in the future.
I want to invigorate the drift industry in Japan and convey the charm of drifting to many people.
The journey so far may have been a detour, but thanks to the support of everyone, I was able to achieve my childhood dream of participating in the D1GP series starting from 2022 and completing the second season.
I sincerely express my gratitude for being able to stand on this grand stage, and for being able to complete the series with the support of the team, sponsors, and fans. I will continue to strive to become a driver who can contribute to the marketing of the drift industry as soon as possible, for the sake of those who support me now, utilizing what I have learned and felt in every battle. 2024年参戦のご報告
2024年は、ドリフトマスターズヨーロピアンチャンピオンシップ（DMEC)に全戦挑戦する事が決定しました。
アイルランドに拠点を持つ「Team DRIFTGAMES」のワークスドライバーとして参戦させていただける事になりました。
自分を支えて下さる方々のお陰で兼ねてより目標に掲げていた海外シリーズ、ドリフトマスターズ参戦の機会を与えていただいた事に感謝しております。
日本人ドライバーとして、この貴重な経験を活かせるよう毎戦全力を尽くしたいたいと思います。
マシンは昨年D1グランプリで使用したS15 シルビアをヨーロッパ仕様にして参戦します。 タイヤは、今年もVALINO TIRES様にサポートいただき、PERGEA 08RSを装着して戦います！
参戦の模様は、「Team DRIFTGAMES公式Youtubeチャンネル」、DMECより 「RED BULL TVチャンネル」で配信予定です。
世界中から集まるトップドライバーと同じ舞台で走れることにワクワクしてます。
同時にヨーロッパ各国でのコース、マシン、ルールの違い等、不安もあります。 想像できないくらい沢山の困難が待ち構えていると思いますが、自分がドライバーとして成長する為にとても重要な事なので、必ず乗り越えて強くなってきます。
毎戦レベルアップできるよう努力し優勝目指して全力で頑張ります。
そして、チームの仲間と一緒により多くの人に日本で発祥したDRIFTの魅力を伝えられるようこれからも頑張って参りますので、今期も引き続き熱い応援の程宜しくお願い申し上げます。
Announcement of participation in 2024
In 2024, it has been decided that I will challenge all rounds of the Drift Masters European Championship (DMEC).
I am honored to participate as a works driver for "Team DRIFTGAMES" based in Ireland. I am grateful for the opportunity to compete in the overseas series that I have always aimed for, the Drift Masters, thanks to those who support me.
As a Japanese driver, I want to make the most of this valuable experience and give my all in every race. The car will be the S15 Silvia used in last year's D1 Grand Prix, modified for European specifications.
This year, I will be supported by VALINO TIRES and will compete with the PERGEA 08RS!
The participation will be broadcasted on the Team DRIFTGAMES official Youtube channel, DMEC, and REDBULL channel.
I am excited to be able to run on the same stage as top drivers from around the world. At the same time, I have some concerns about the differences in courses, cars, and rules in various European countries. I believe that many unexpected difficulties are waiting, but overcoming them is crucial for my growth as a driver, and I will become stronger.
I will strive to level up in every race and aim for victory with all my effort. Furthermore, I will continue to work hard with my team members to convey the charm of DRIFT, originating from Japan, to more people. I kindly ask for your continued passionate support this season.

Hi, I'm Ryusei Akiba FROM JAPAN.
I have decided to participate for the first time in the DMEC, which I have set as a goal for 2024, a foreign series that I have always wanted to try.
I am truly grateful to everyone involved with Drift Games, sponsors, and everyone who has supported me for the opportunity to be a driver for Team DRIFT GAMES.
I am sincerely grateful for being able to participate this year. DRIFT GAMES is the world's largest drift studio based in Ireland.
Top creators are daily sharing drift content from around the world. The participation will be broadcast live on Drift Games' official Youtube channel.
We plan to deliver a lot of content this year, so I'm hoping everyone will enjoy it! Team DRIFT GAMES consists of three drivers and is a racing team that will participate for the first time in the DMEC this year. While I am excited to race with the world's top drivers, I anticipate struggles with the unfamiliar European courses, as everything will be a new challenge. To all supporters, I would be grateful if you could watch over and share in our excitement together.
I will do my best to spread the joy of drifting, originating from Japan, to as many people as possible. This year, we will be touring 6 countries in Europe.
A large amount of funds is required for overseas participation. The support of each supporter will help with our participation.
